This was a scene I put together awhile ago. I redid the lighting and camera and some ecosystem settings in vue. Retouched with photomatrix and photoshop.

i personally would add some green textures under the trees to represent the moss and smaller plants hanging out under there

yea i didn't even notice it until it was done rendering... I just set the altitude for the grass texture way to high

yeah I might just re render the landscape and tree area.. the composite it in... the water is what took forever to render

vue has a way to only render a specific portion of the image.....that way it will fit perfectly

thanks man... I am going to re-render later this week to tweak some things... the water kind of bothers me
